Cover from the magazin Strada, issue 4/2008, from the Ducati Club Nederland
Today we received the Ducati Club Nederland magazin Strada. It contains all the results and times from the last Ducati Club Race in Assen/Netherlands
After examination of the magazine we found out that Lex van Dijk with our 2 V Testa Demon 1078 was around 30 seconds faster as the next 2 valve Ducati which was Hans van the Heijden on the Pierobon F042!
Hans drove 2.38 in the Duevalvole class and Lex on the 2 V Testa Demon 1078 2.06 in the Sound Of Thunder competition
This would have mean for the Duevalvole Race, that Lex possibly have overhauled the second place in the fourth or fifth round! At 10 rounds this would mean two overhaulings! Thats just about the limit!!
In the Desmoquattro class with only 4 valve Ducati engines won Carl Nengerman with its Ducati 851 and a 2,33 round time. Lex would have had also here nearly 30 seconds advance on second per round.. Third place is 1098, fourth 848, and so on
Super results for us, despite this traditionally very competition-strong driver field! Cordial thanks again at Lex!
